Job Summary:

The Lead Vocational Nurse is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading the clinical team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Participate in maintaining a safe patient care environment.
  • Assist with the care and maintenance of department equipment.
  • Complete and accurate charting of patient records.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines of the health care team to ensure the delivery of care across the continuum.
  • Responsible for providing a safe, HIPAA compliant environment for the patient and the staff.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement process.
  • Monitor daily performance of the clinical team members to ensure duties are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely.

Requirements:

  • Current LVN License to practice in the State of California.
  • One or more years of experience in a healthcare care facility.
  • Basic keyboarding skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Current BLS Certification.
