Key Responsibilities- Compounding Operations: Supervise and manage compounding activities in the cleanroom, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch record directions.
- Quality Control: Conduct pre-and-post compounding operational checks, complete accurate logs of controlled substances and compounding records, and investigate deviations and batch reviews.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and assist technicians in preparing sterile admixtures, communicate issues to the Pharmacy lead, and enforce applicable personnel policies and procedures.
- Inventory Management: Maintain real-time inventory of pharmacy finished products and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or (RPh)
- License: Active Pharmacist License in the home state (AR and CT)
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership: Ability to supervise and lead a team in a cleanroom environment
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and ability to learn gowning procedures and wear sterile Personal Protective Equipment
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40+ pounds and sit or stand for 4+ hours at a time
