- Conduct needs assessments, plan, and evaluate nutrition services to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to promote healthy eating habits and reduce chronic disease rates.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in public health nutrition.
- Master's degree in public health nutrition or a related field.
- Eligibility for registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
- At least one year of progressively responsible professional nutrition experience in a public health program, agency, or setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to travel to various locations throughout the state, as needed.
