Team Collaboration and Development

Your Contributions

  • Engage in all stages of Agile practices (planning, refinement, coding sprints)
  • Acquire knowledge and oversight of our loyalty platform integration points (live APIs, batch processing, queue-based systems)
  • Participate in design discussions; collaborate with product owners and team members to address acceptance criteria
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configuration and business logic rules
  • Support fellow team members through guidance and mentorship
  • Encourage and exemplify best coding practices and methodologies within the team
  • Provide accurate time estimates and project scopes for assigned tasks
  • Identify and address information gaps as necessary
  • Devise straightforward solutions to intricate challenges
  • Propose innovative strategies to enhance processes and components of work
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams and external partners

Qualifications for Success

  • 5+ years of experience in designing and developing applications and components using Java and Spring (preferably JDK 9+ with Spring Boot and Batch)
  • 5+ years of experience in front-end web application development
  • 2+ years of experience in designing and developing applications using Angular (preferably version 7+)
  • 3+ years of experience in developing RESTful services utilizing JSON
  • Experience in creating microservice cloud applications (Oracle, AWS, or Azure)
  • 3+ years of experience in developing SQL multi-table queries, inserts, and updates (preferably Oracle/PostgreSQL)
  • Experience in optimizing SQL statements with execution explain plans
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
  • Experience in developing applications for Loyalty, Accounting, or Banking preferred
  • Experience with Message Queues (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka Streams) preferred
  • Experience in building Docker containers and configuring Kubernetes clusters (kubectl, Docker for Desktop) preferred
  • Familiarity with Build Management tools (Bitbucket/Git, Gradle, Bamboo) preferred
