Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team at South Texas Spine & Surgical Hospital.
About the Role:The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating room, working closely with the surgical team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop plans for intra-operative patient needs.
- Participate in timeout procedures and ensure accurate site marking.
- Maintain a safe operating room environment and adhere to all patient care safety requirements.
- Document patient care and medical records accurately and in accordance with federal and accrediting standards.
- Current and valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the operating room or other critical care nursing environment.
- BLS and ACLS certification required, with PALS certification preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, with additional languages preferred.
- Computer literacy and basic fundamental computer skills required.
