About the Location:
Our clinic is situated in a vibrant area that combines the charm of a small town with the amenities of a larger city. Residents enjoy a variety of local shops, parks, and recreational spaces, making it an ideal environment for both work and leisure.
Position Overview:
This role is essential for providing high-quality surgical care. The position entails a schedule of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. The surgeon will not be required to take call during this time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage emergency general surgery cases.
- Provide care in a hospital-based setting with clinic visits for follow-up patients.
Qualifications:
- ACLS (AHA) certification.
- ATLS certification.
- Board Certification in Surgery.
Licensure:
Applicants must hold a valid Iowa state medical license.
