Position Overview:
At SSM Health, we believe in the power of healing and the importance of quality care. As a Radiology Technologist specializing in multiple modalities, you will play a vital role in the diagnostic imaging process, contributing to the treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Radiology Technologist, your primary duties will include:
  • Conducting a diverse range of imaging examinations essential for diagnosing illnesses and injuries.
  • Accurately positioning patients and selecting appropriate anatomical and technical parameters.
  • Implementing safety standards and radiation protection protocols.
  • Assisting physicians during special and advanced imaging procedures.
  • Preparing and administering contrast media and medications in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory agency standards and protocols.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
  • Submitting high-quality images and documentation to the PACS system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, frequent lifting and moving of patients, and proficient use of vision and hearing for effective communication.

Work Schedule:
This position typically involves day shifts, with opportunities for additional shifts as needed.
