Job Title: Diesel Technician

A leading waste and recycling company in Ridgeland, SC is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team. This role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs on Class A truck engines.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct visual and hands-on inspections of CDL A trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire pressure checks, and brake inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine issues, including hydraulic and welding tasks.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience working with Class A trucks.
  • 6+ years of experience in diesel mechanics for A-level technicians.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASE certification in diesel mechanics.
  • Previous experience in the waste industry.
