University Medical Center of El Paso seeks a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team. As a key member of our anesthesia department, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver anesthesia care to patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings.
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Operate and interpret data from a wide range of equipment to provide safe and effective anesthesia care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest anesthesia techniques, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Current Texas or compact RN license to practice in the State of Texas.
- Current Texas/Compact APRN License.
- Currently certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certification.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Nurse Anesthesia required, accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
- Three years of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
