Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver anesthesia care to patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings.
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Operate and interpret data from a wide range of equipment to provide safe and effective anesthesia care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest anesthesia techniques, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Current Texas or compact RN license to practice in the State of Texas.
  • Current Texas/Compact APRN License.
  • Currently certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
  • CPR, ACLS, and PALS certification.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Nurse Anesthesia required, accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
  • Three years of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
