Job Description

Delivering Great Sandwiches to Customers

We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused delivery driver to join our team at Jimmy John's. As a delivery associate, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and with a smile.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Takes orders from customers over the phone and completes delivery tickets accurately and efficiently.
  • Delivers sandwiches to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner within the designated delivery area.
  • Accepts payment from customers and handles cash transactions.
  • Works with management to reconcile cash from delivery sales at the end of each shift.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant, including all tables, floors, windows, and restrooms.
  • Greets customers, takes orders, operates the cash register, collects payments, and makes change.
  • Executes genuine greetings and farewells to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Fills out systems and procedures with accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintains a professional appearance at all times, adhering to the dress code.

Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently and clearly.
  • Ability to use basic math, addition, and subtraction, as well as understand basic fractions.
  • Required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift up to 50 pounds.

Estimated Salary: $12-$15 per hour
