Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination safely and efficiently
  • Transport goods across the country, following all applicable laws and regulations
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Load and unload freight, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury
  • Maintain accurate records and logs, including hours of service, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with endorsements for doubles/triples and tanker operations
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Class A CDL Truck Driver
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including a drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
