The successful candidate will deliver direct nursing care to adult patients, addressing the psychosocial, physical, and overall aspects of care in a procedural and interventional setting.
Core Responsibilities:
- Administering care during the admission, recovery, and discharge phases for patients in the Cardiovascular Lab.
- Delivering direct patient care while evaluating outcomes and collaborating with healthcare team members to adjust nursing care processes as necessary.
- Demonstrating an understanding of growth and development principles to provide age-appropriate care.
- Conducting thorough assessments to identify each patient's specific needs and ensuring optimal care delivery.
- Performing comprehensive evaluations on all patients, including post-procedure assessments.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Nevada.
- Current POC Certification within 90 days of hire.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- A minimum of one year of experience in critical care settings.
- Prior experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology is required.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties as needed.
