Culinary Runner

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking part-time Culinary Runners to support our operations. In this role, you will showcase exceptional time management abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks while adapting to the dynamic environment of the dining area.

Please be aware that this is a tipped role; the hourly minimum wage indicated does not encompass any potential gratuity earnings.

• Assist wait staff in clearing tables
• Maintain cleanliness and assist with setup and breakdown as required
• Perform opening, closing, and side work tasks as assigned
• Reset tables after guests depart
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to prepare food trays
• Deliver food to the dining area for servers
• Refill guests' water glasses as needed
• Restock service areas at the end of shifts
• Complete other assigned duties

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Availability for daytime, weekday shifts is required
• No prior experience necessary
• Strong guest service orientation; ability to adhere to Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards
• Effective communication skills with guests, and ability to read and follow written instructions in English
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to carry full trays weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand or walk for the entire duration of the shift; may involve navigating stairs
• Good mobility to maneuver between tables for clearing plates
• Ability to adapt to varying temperatures – required to transition between the hot, noisy kitchen and climate-controlled dining areas
