Job Summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a highly skilled Addiction Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive addiction services to patients in our program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients for addiction and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to support patients in their recovery journey
  • Collaborate with primary care providers, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in continuing education sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices in addiction treatment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Addictions Counseling or related field
  • Licensed as an Addictions Counselor by the ND Board of Addiction Counseling examiners
  • One year of experience in addiction treatment or a related field
