Salary: $18.15/hour with a $2.50 night shift differential
- Day Shift: Sunday - every other Wednesday
- Night Shift: Sunday - every other Wednesday
- Day Shift: every other Wednesday - Saturday
- Night Shift: every other Wednesday - Saturday
- Operate and oversee production machinery in accordance with established protocols and safety regulations.
- Prepare machines for production runs, ensuring accurate calibration and setup.
- Monitor machinery performance during operations, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal efficiency and product quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and resolve any issues or potential failures.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement, to ensure continuous operation.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain a safe working environment.
- Document production activities, including machine settings and output quantities.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and enhance production processes.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Engage in training programs to improve skills and stay informed about new technologies and industry practices.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and production documents.
- Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality production.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
- Commitment to safety practices and adherence to company policies.
- Frequent sitting, walking, bending, and squatting.
- Ability to sit and work on a computer or at a desk.
- Capable of bending, stooping, twisting, and using hands throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver full drums of chemicals with assistance.
