About the Job
This is a contract position offering $62,800 per year based on 32 weeks of work with a rate of $155 per hour. The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for conducting initial mental health evaluations, providing crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and developing treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess patient needs and develop treatment recommendations.
- Provide crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and individual therapy sessions as needed.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect the standard of practice.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and progress.
- Participate in IDTT meetings and contribute to the development of new programs for patient treatment and rehabilitation.
Requirements
- Valid and active California Psychology license.
- Minimum of twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years performing services similar in scope to those defined herein.
