General Anesthesiology Opportunity

The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Medicine and Pain Management at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is expanding its faculty and seeking a General Anesthesiologist to contribute to its growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality anesthesia care in a variety of cases, including orthopedics, GYN, community OB, abdominal cases, general vascular, and kidney transplants
  • Supervise and mentor residents, CRNAs, and SRNAs to ensure exceptional patient care
  • Participate in academic activities, including teaching, mentoring, and departmental conferences
  • Contribute to the development of departmental initiatives and research projects
  • Participate in a call schedule, with a manageable number of overnight calls per month
Requirements:
  • MD/DO degree required
  • US-approved residency in Anesthesiology or equivalent training and certification
  • Board Eligibility/Board Certified in Anesthesiology
  • Research experience a plus
  • Ability to anesthetize older children and limited skills in regional anesthesia a plus
