About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Health Unit Coordinator on our Med Surg unit. As a key member of our care team, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring, and mobility. You'll work closely with our clinical team to ensure seamless care delivery and patient services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients from diverse backgrounds
  • Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure optimal care delivery and patient services
  • Utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Perform receptionist and communications duties to support the smooth operation of our unit

Requirements

  • Completion of an approved Unit Secretary vocational training course or currently enrolled in a clinical education program
  • Previous patient care experience (minimum of one year) or equivalent clerical experience in a medical setting

Pay and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and retirement benefits, as well as paid time off. Our pay scale is $32.59 USD, and we're committed to providing a fair and equitable compensation package for all our employees.
