Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Tennis Instructor to lead our Wellness Program, providing tennis lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.


The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating student performance, ensuring equipment is in good working order, and educating students on tennis strategies and good sportsmanship. Maintaining a professional appearance is also essential.


To excel as a Tennis Instructor, you should possess knowledge of different coaching methods and be able to motivate students.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and improving various tennis skills in students
  • Ensuring adherence to rules and regulations
  • Assessing student skills to identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinating individual and group tennis lessons
  • Designing training programs tailored to age, objectives, and individual skill sets
  • Adapting coaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
  • Providing a secure and productive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Tennis Coach or Instructor
  • Familiarity with various coaching techniques
  • CPR and first aid certifications preferred
  • Able to motivate students
  • Eligible to work in the US
  • A passion for tennis

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Location: FIU Modesto Maidique Campus
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5pm-8pm (rotationally)
