Security Sergeant

Job Summary:

As a Security Sergeant, you will be responsible for maintaining security and care on a shift for male or female inmates of a State Correctional Facility. This role requires transporting inmates to and from the correctional facility, inspecting and patrolling living quarters and other facility buildings, grounds, and equipment to maintain security.

Responsibilities:

• Transport inmates to and from the correctional facility
• Inspect and patrol living quarters and other facility buildings, grounds, and equipment
• Maintain security and care on a shift for male or female inmates

Requirements:

• Must be a lawful permanent resident or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship
• Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting
