Job Summary:

This is a 5-week travel assignment with 36 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including COPD, pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest respiratory therapy techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Current RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
