CNC Machinist Job Summary

A skilled CNC Machinist is needed to operate a variety of CNC machines, read and understand layouts, job packets, and blueprints, and maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements. The ideal candidate will have a 2-year degree in Machining Technology or CNC Machining trade school and a minimum of 2 years of CNC Machining experience.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
  • Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines.
  • Read and understand layouts, job packets, and blueprints.
  • Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area.

CNC Machinist Qualifications:
  • 2-year degree in Machining Technology or CNC Machining trade school preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of CNC Machining experience.
  • Understanding of tooling requirements to set up and operate machines.
  • Understanding of safety rules and regulations.
