The University of Florida seeks a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join its Department of Geological Sciences. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching, research, and service.
Teaching ResponsibilitiesYou will teach graduate and undergraduate courses in hydrogeology, including Hydrogeology and Human Affairs, Groundwater Geology, or Hydrogeologic Modeling. Your teaching duties will involve developing and delivering engaging lectures, leading discussions, and mentoring students.
Research ActivitiesYour research will focus on physical hydrology, hydrogeologic systems, groundwater systems, and the development of efficient predictive models. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and students on research projects, publish your findings in reputable journals, and present your work at conferences.
Minimum RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you must hold a Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Geological Sciences, or a related field.
