Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team on a PRN basis. As a Registered Nurse at Del Sol Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assist the Director in providing nursing leadership and supervision to staff.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate treatment plans.
- Supervise and provide feedback to staff regarding patient care and serve as a clinical role model.
- Diploma in Nursing required.
- Ability to read and write basic English with skills necessary to understand and transfer physician's orders and document in medical records.
- Ability to move in excess of 100 pounds with assistance from other personnel and/or equipment.
- Knowledgeable of age-appropriate medication dosages and medications commonly used in critical care.
- Knowledgeable of hemodynamic monitoring and intra-aortic balloon pumping.
- Ability to manage a team and work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care.
- CCRN or Cardiac Specialty Nursing Certification preferred.
