We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographer to join our team at North Mississippi Health Services. As a Polysomnographer, you will play a vital role in conducting sleep testing procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct sleep testing procedures and maintain quality recordings in accordance with AASM guidelines.
- Monitor patient activity and maintain patient safety and comfort.
- Score polysomnograms and computer-generated records based on AASM, Rechtshaffer, and Kales scoring criteria.
- Maintain accurate records and provide complete clinical information to physicians.
- Assist in the development and presentation of educational lectures, conferences, and promotional activities.
- Registered Polysomnographer Technologist (RPSGT) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
