Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This role will involve performing routine and advanced PET/CT procedures for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury.

Responsibilities
  • Screen patients before procedures for any precautions or contraindications.
  • Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques.
  • Perform and record daily quality control procedures on specified equipment.
  • Maintain patient care, comfort, and safety while ensuring patient confidentiality.
  • Assess, prepare, record, and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to regulations and departmental policies.
  • Perform daily and weekly departmental surveys to ensure compliance with radiation standards.
  • Travel to various medical facilities on a mobile route.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Drivers License prior to hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Board.
  • One or more of the following: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
