Position Overview:

This role is integral to the operations of DFR LLC, focusing on guiding and supporting a team of Eligibility Specialists. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Indiana residents receive the assistance they need while also mentoring team members in their professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Eligibility Specialists.
  • Conduct regular visits to various DFR offices as required.
  • Support and coach all team members in their daily responsibilities.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures as directed by management.
  • Implement and communicate procedural updates from leadership.
  • Prepare and submit reports detailing activities and support provided to the team.
  • Facilitate ongoing training and development for Eligibility Specialists.
  • Assist in case reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives through coaching.
  • Offer production support as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as an Eligibility Specialist is essential.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide clear, concise direction to team members.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Patience and understanding when working with diverse individuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Background in customer service is preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Counseling or Social Services is desirable, though a High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent sitting and handling of objects.
  • Occasional standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
