About the Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a vital member of our healthcare team at Pearl of Evanston. As a CNA, you will play a key role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their health, welfare, and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Resident Care and Support: Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure the comfort and dignity of our residents.
  • Monitoring and Documentation: Check vital signs and weight, record intake and output information, and document actions taken to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Utilize effective communication skills to respond to resident requests, report observations to the nursing supervisor, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
  • Inventory and Supply Management: Complete charge and inventory slips, monitor supply inventory, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance: Protect resident confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and related laws.
Requirements
  • Certification: Illinois Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Certification is required.
  • CPR Certification: CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication and teamwork.
