Job Summary

O'Neal Steel is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team at our Shelbyville, IN facility. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading material within a warehouse, utilizing a variety of equipment and tools to ensure efficient and safe material movement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a wide range of material handling equipment, including forklifts, overhead cranes, and stacker cranes.
  • Use hand tools, such as grinders, banders, and drills, to perform various tasks.
  • Accurately read tape measures to ensure precise material placement.
  • Provide high-quality work to internal and external customers, adhering to company standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of hand tools and their proper use.
  • Accurate reading and measurement skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
