Position Overview
We are in search of a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide outstanding patient care in our dynamic emergency department. In this role, you will:
- Deliver nursing care for a variety of cases, from minor injuries to critically ill patients.
- Effectively manage multiple cases while prioritizing care based on patient acuity.
- Maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive follow-up care and necessary referrals.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with organizational policies.
- Coordinate with physicians and other hospital departments, always prioritizing patient safety and care.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A Diploma or Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing program (required).
- A BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program (preferred).
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or a multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in Virginia.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
