Job Title: RN - Med/Surg PV7 (Weekend)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg PV7 team at Carle Foundation Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Med/Surg setting
