Psychiatric Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders.
Responsibilities:- Provide clinical services to patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders.
- Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
- Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
- Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
- Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
- Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
- One or more years post graduate degree practice preferred.
- Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.
- Board certification in psychiatry.
- Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
