Senior UI Artist

PlayStation Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior UI Artist to join our team. As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and intuitive user interfaces for our games.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers, artists, and designers to develop and integrate 2D UI for our games.
  • Contribute to the artistic direction of the UI art style through concept exploration and creation of 2D UI mockups.
  • Create 2D supporting graphics such as icons that communicate key information and help illustrate the game's interface.
  • Support the UX process by designing wireframes based on feature specifications from other departments.
  • Work independently to support and enhance the creative vision of the Game Director, Art Director, and UI/UX Lead.

Requirements:

  • Strong 2D illustration and graphic design skills.
  • Strong User Experience knowledge with wireframing experience.
  • Professional experience with game engine integration.
  • 5+ years of experience in User Interface artwork on at least two recent AAA titles.

Preferred Experience:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Expertise in 2D animation techniques.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python and MEL Script.
  • Node-based shader editor experience.
