Travel Labor and Delivery Nurse Job Opportunity

Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN to join our team for a 13-week contract assignment in a state-of-the-art area hospital in Bakersfield, California.

About the Job

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for managing the care of mothers and their babies during the delivery process. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns in the labor and delivery unit
  • Assess and manage patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based care
Requirements
  • Current state license in good standing
  • 12 months of Labor and Delivery experience in an acute-care setting within the last 3 years
  • Current BLS certification required, ACLS may be required
