Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to provide exceptional care to patients with various medical conditions at Mercy Medical Center. This role involves assisting physicians and performing selected tasks to ensure the safety and dignity of patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, fluid intake, elimination, bathing, and dressing.
- Perform selected tasks, such as patient transport, collection of specimens, and distribution of linens and supplies to patient rooms.
- Provide care according to hospital procedures and protect the safety and dignity of patients.
- May perform secretarial tasks to aid in the flow of the unit.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.
- CPR/Basic Life Support certification required.
- Full-time, 36 hours night shift.
- Must work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled.
