Position Overview:

The Senior Dining Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the management of dining services and nutritional programs at designated Catholic Charities Senior Dining locations, including outreach to rural communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management: Ensure effective operation of the Senior Dining site in accordance with established policies and procedures; engage with diners to foster a welcoming atmosphere and provide information about additional supportive services.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of meals served; complete necessary documentation for insurance and waiver meals, ensuring authorization is secured; track diner contributions and manage funds; order non-food supplies; submit weekly reports to the administrative office.
  • Volunteer Coordination: Organize and oversee volunteer efforts within the Senior Dining Program.
  • Social and Wellness Activities: Plan and promote social and wellness initiatives for participants, maintaining regular communication with diners.
  • Marketing and Outreach: Advocate for the Senior Dining Program within the community through various media channels and by participating in local events.
  • Meals on Wheels Management: Oversee the Meals on Wheels initiative, conducting annual assessments of clients to determine eligibility and connecting them with relevant community services.
  • Food Service Management: Prepare meal service for on-site diners, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and proper tracking of food items.
Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum of Two Years in a related field
