Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, collaborating with physicians and other departments to resolve problems and improve patient care.
- Combine clinical skills, organizational abilities, and administrative expertise to deliver high-quality patient care through innovation and best practices.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient flow.
- Act as a clinical resource and support to nursing staff, providing education and guidance on patient care and treatment.
- Perform hospital rounds to assess and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
- Provide administrative support to nursing staff, including scheduling, staffing, and budgeting.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to resolve employee relations issues and provide support to staff members.
- Participate in hospital-wide initiatives and committees to improve patient care and hospital operations.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN preferred.
- 3-5 years of recent clinical experience, including work experience in a supervisory role.
- CPR certification and ability to perform adult and child CPR in any setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
