Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Newscast Director to join our team at Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. As a key member of our news production team, you will be responsible for directing and producing high-quality newscasts that engage and inform our audience.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct and produce newscasts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of news content
  • Oversee the production crew, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless execution of newscasts
  • Develop and implement graphics and visual elements to enhance the newscast experience
  • Collaborate with writers and anchors to create compelling and informative content
  • Maintain a safe and organized production environment, adhering to company standards and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of our news team

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in directing and producing newscasts, with a strong understanding of broadcast standards and regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other production software
  • Ability to lift and move equipment, up to 40 pounds, as needed
  • College degree preferred, with a focus on journalism, communications, or a related field
