Dishroom Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwashing Machine Operator to join our team at Applebee's. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
• Assist in food preparation procedures, including washing and sanitizing dishes, pots, and pans.
• Complete all assigned prep work, including removing trash and garbage to the dumpster area.
• Clean and sanitize work area tables, walls, refrigerator equipment, cooking equipment, and floors.
• Assemble, maintain, and break down the dish machine as needed.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand and exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to four hours in length.
• Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to managers and other staff members.
• Must be able to transport and carry objects up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must possess and/or obtain a valid Food Handlers Card prior to employment.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Working Conditions:

• Works frequently in a hot and damp environment.
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors.
