As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Operate specialized ventilators and equipment to support patient care
  • Provide medication treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure proper functionality
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license issued by the state in which you practice
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
