The Barista role at Macy's is a key position in our foodservice operations. As a Barista, you will be responsible for selling and creating Starbucks coffee beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.

• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our coffee offerings, including drip coffee, cold beverages, and pastry stations.
• Follow company standards and maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to Health Department regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, utilizing Magic Selling skills and Starbucks Simple Service Steps to ensure a positive experience.
• Educate and serve customers on our food and beverage products, highlighting craveable options.
• Perform station-specific duties and responsibilities, including opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain PAR stock levels and product presentations, adhering to Starbucks merchandising and signing standards.
• Produce and present freshly prepared products, meeting speed of service standards and maintaining personal hygiene and professional dress code.
• Perform other duties as needed, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

• No prior experience or education required, but 1-2 years of related experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules and operating instructions.
• Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including day, evening, weekends, and holidays.

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking around the store or department.
• May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stooping.
• Frequent use of computers and technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.
• Frequent lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds.
