Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Rigging Engineer to join our team at Amentum. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of rigging and lifting operations at our construction site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Rigging Plans: Create and implement rigging plans and calculations to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
  • Conduct Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with mechanical handling, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of lifting operations.
  • Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on rigging and lifting procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards for rigging and lifting operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial rigging and lifting operations, with 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of rigging and lifting calculations, safety protocols, and industry regulations. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
