About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Senior Architect, responsible for creating architectural models that operate at scale and high performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop architecture and design briefs outlining key features and decision points for applications built in the Data Lab.
  • Collaborate with customers to advise on changes as they deploy systems on AWS.
  • Extract best-practice knowledge, reference architectures, and patterns from engagements for sharing with the worldwide AWS solution architect community.
  • Lead the design and development of large-scale, high-performance applications.
Requirements
  • AWS Certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, or AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty).
  • Experience in creating architectural proposals.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading teams and interacting with clients to gather requirements.
  • Expertise in AWS services, including EC2, EMR, Redshift, S3, and Streaming services like Kafka, Kinesis, HDFS.
  • Experience with Starburst ecosystem and Dagster as an orchestration tool.
  • Experience with developing data models in Data Build Tool (dbt) and configuration-based ETL pipeline development.
  • Track record of implementing AWS services in various business environments, including large enterprises and start-ups.
  • Knowledge of foundational infrastructure requirements, such as Networking, Storage, and Hardware Optimization.
