About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Imaging Intern to join our team at Ascension Seton. As an Imaging Intern, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and services within the scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, selecting exposure factors accurately.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards, adhering to accepted scope of practice and applicable regulations.
  • Assist supervising technologists and physicians in various imaging procedures, preparing and administering contrast media and medications as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
  • High school diploma equivalency or enrollment in an accredited program specific to the discipline.
