Job Summary:

Morehead State University is seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Chemistry to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of chemistry courses, including Physical Chemistry, General Chemistry I and II, and Survey of General Chemistry courses for agriculture and allied health majors. The candidate will also be expected to establish an active undergraduate research program and participate in various service activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach a variety of chemistry courses, including Physical Chemistry, General Chemistry I and II, and Survey of General Chemistry courses for agriculture and allied health majors.
  • Establish an active undergraduate research program.
  • Participate in various service activities.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry (Physical Chemistry preferred).
  • ABD with completion by December 2025 would also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience in a higher education environment.
