We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to assume the responsibility for Administrative Operations of the medical center during evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Administrator on call and other members of the Management team to ensure appropriate facility resources and response to meet organization-wide healthcare service responsibilities.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Graduate from a professional nursing program.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license.
- BLS & ACLS required upon hire.
- 3-5 years of nursing experience in a hospital environment, with 1 year as a charge nurse or other management position preferred.
Overland Park Regional Medical Center is a 340+ bed facility offering acute medical services to our patients. We are Johnson County's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center. We have an Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center. Our hospital is a premier area destination for Women's & Children's healthcare services.
