As a Tax Associate, you will collaborate with a diverse range of businesses across various sectors. Building strong, trust-based relationships with clients is essential, as it allows for a deeper understanding of their operations and challenges. You will engage in multiple team projects each year, contributing to various aspects of assignments rather than focusing on a single task. Our collaborative team atmosphere is designed to help you perform at your best while harmonizing your career with your personal life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participating in a team that addresses a broad spectrum of tax specialties, including corporate taxation, federal credits and incentives, individual taxation, mergers and acquisitions, and taxation for pass-through entities.
- Conducting tax planning and research activities.
- Preparing federal and state tax returns.
- Interpreting tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Accounting major preferred.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary, with reliable transportation.
- Preferred minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Progressing towards the CPA exam completion; tax associates have the opportunity to gain the necessary audit hours for full certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Capability to multitask in a dynamic work environment.

Compensation for this role ranges from $63,360 to $75,600, reflecting various factors including education, experience, and skills. Selected candidates may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses based on individual and firm performance.
