Responsibilities of the Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist
  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assess patient conditions, provide patient care, and maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
  • Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and development.
  • Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to deliver excellent patient care.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
  • Hold current registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or RCIS certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
  • Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) training and obtain Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Demonstrate previous procedural experience in a cath lab setting.
