Seafood Department Supervisor

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our seafood department. This includes ensuring that aisles, freezers, and refrigerators are stocked, labeled, and clean, as well as receiving and processing product deliveries.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of seafood department staff, including stockers and supervisors.
  • Ensure that all seafood products are properly rotated, priced, and displayed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and perform regular physical inventories to maintain accurate computer records.
  • Supervise the receiving and processing of seafood product deliveries, including verifying paperwork and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the seafood department and surrounding areas.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a retail or food service environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
