Chief Financial Officer

Alliance Resource Group is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead the Accounting/Finance function of our partner company, a leading automotive accessories wholesaler/distributor. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and a background in wholesale/distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Lead the Corporate Accounting team and Shared Services, supporting retail, wholesale, and consumer divisions.
  • Maintain banking relationships, including financial statement submissions and borrowing base certificates.
  • Manage assets, including additions, disposals, transfers, and reconciliation of month-end activity.
  • Research and resolve technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including review of balance sheet reconciliations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
  • CPA strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of combined experience in public accounting and private industry, with 4+ recent years in a retail/wholesale environment and managing real estate assets.
  • Strong understanding of consolidated financial reporting and flux analysis to budget.
  • Experience with real estate loans and capital financing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
